Getting Started

About Dr. Dylan
and the practice.

Who is Dr. Dylan Jonlynn?+

Dr. Dylan Jonlynn, DC is a Webster Certified family chiropractor, licensed animal chiropractor, and Network Spinal Analysis practitioner based in Boulder, Colorado. He has been practicing chiropractic for over a decade and brings together chiropractic science, energy work, somatic awareness, and contemplative practice into a uniquely integrated approach. Dylan is also a Vajrayana Buddhist teacher and IFS practitioner which means every session draws on a much deeper well than chiropractic technique alone.

What makes this practice different from a typical chiropractic office?+

Most chiropractic is mechanical find the misalignment, adjust it, repeat. Dylan's approach is relational. He takes time at the beginning of every session to truly assess what is present in your body today, not what was present last week. He blends physical chiropractic with energy work and somatic awareness, meaning the nervous system is addressed at multiple levels simultaneously. Clients often report shifts that go well beyond physical pain relief changes in energy, mood, clarity, and sense of self.

What should I expect at my first visit?+

Your first visit includes a full intake conversation where Dylan listens carefully to your history, your current concerns, and what you're hoping for. He takes time to assess your spine and nervous system before beginning any adjustment. First sessions typically run 60 to 75 minutes. Many clients notice something shifting even before they leave the office. You may feel relaxed, energized, emotional, or quietly spacious all of these are normal and welcome responses.

Are walk-ins and same-day appointments available?+

Yes. Same-day appointments and walk-ins are welcome whenever space is available. The best way to confirm availability is to call or text directly at (720) 710-7861. Online booking is also available at any time through Vagaro.

Where are you located?+

The practice is located at 3970 Broadway, Suite 201E in North Boulder, Colorado near Lucky's Cafe. Parking is available in the shared lot in front of the building. The office is a warm, plant-filled sanctuary designed to help your nervous system begin to settle before the session even starts.

Network Chiropractic

Network Spinal
Analysis.

What is Network Spinal Analysis and how is it different from regular chiropractic?+

Network Spinal Analysis, or NSA, is a gentle, precise approach to chiropractic care that works with the body's own innate intelligence rather than forcing joints into place. Instead of a high-velocity thrust, Dylan uses light, specific touches along the spine at points called spinal gateways. These gentle contacts invite the nervous system to reorganize itself releasing stored tension, developing new healing rhythms, and creating an experience of expansion that goes well beyond physical pain relief. NSA was developed by Dr. Donny Epstein and is practiced by a small number of highly trained chiropractors worldwide.

Is it safe? Will there be cracking or forceful adjustments?+

NSA is one of the gentlest chiropractic approaches in existence. There is no high-velocity thrusting, no forceful manipulation, and typically no cracking. The touches are light and precise. It is safe for all ages from newborns to elders, and is widely used with pregnant women, people recovering from injury, and those who have had previous negative experiences with traditional chiropractic.

What does a session feel like?+

Most clients describe NSA sessions as deeply relaxing and expansive. You lie fully clothed on a chiropractic table. Dylan makes light, specific contacts along your spine and sacrum. The nervous system responds sometimes with gentle wave-like movements, deep breathing, emotional release, or simply a profound settling. Many clients feel an immediate sense of relief, clarity, or spaciousness. Some feel emotional. Some fall asleep. All of it is welcome.

How often should I come in?+

This varies by person and by what you're working with. For acute pain or a specific concern, more frequent visits early on help accelerate the shift. For ongoing wellness and nervous system development, many clients come weekly or twice monthly. Dylan will share his recommendation after your first session based on what he observes. Think of it less like going to the dentist and more like a contemplative practice the benefits accumulate and compound over time.

What conditions respond well to Network Chiropractic?+

NSA has been shown to help with chronic back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica, stress and anxiety, fatigue, digestive issues, and general nervous system dysregulation. Beyond symptom relief, clients consistently report improvements in sleep, energy, emotional resilience, and overall quality of life. The work addresses the root patterns in the nervous system rather than just the symptoms which is why results often extend far beyond what clients originally came in for.

Prenatal and Postnatal Care

Pregnancy, birth,
and new life.

Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?+

Yes. The Webster Technique is specifically designed for pregnancy and is widely endorsed by midwives, OBs, and doulas who recognize its safety and effectiveness. Dylan uses no high-velocity thrusting and no pressure on the abdomen. Specialized positioning ensures your comfort throughout. Many clients begin care in their first trimester and continue through their due date and consistently report it as one of the best decisions they made during their pregnancy.

What is the Webster Technique?+

The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and gentle adjustment designed to reduce the effects of sacral misalignment during pregnancy. When the sacrum is in balance, the pelvis functions optimally creating more space for baby's development and movement, reducing pregnancy discomfort, and supporting optimal positioning for birth. It is one of the most researched and respected approaches to prenatal chiropractic care.

When should I start and how often should I come?+

Any time during pregnancy is appropriate, and earlier generally means more benefit. Many clients come in monthly during the first and second trimesters, then increase to every two to three weeks in the third trimester as the body changes more rapidly. If you are in your third trimester and have never had chiropractic care, it is absolutely not too late significant shifts can happen even in the final weeks.

Do you see newborns?+

Yes. Newborn chiropractic is one of the most impactful things you can offer your baby in their first weeks of life. Birth places real forces on the infant spine and cranium even in the most beautiful, natural births. Gentle newborn adjustments use the lightest possible touch about the pressure you would use to test the ripeness of a tomato. The results in feeding, sleeping, settling, and overall ease can be remarkable. Dylan works with newborns from their first days of life.

What about postnatal care?+

The postpartum body has gone through an enormous structural transformation and benefits greatly from realignment support. Dylan works with postnatal clients navigating recovery, realignment, pelvic floor support, and the return to full vitality. Most clients find coming in within the first two to six weeks after birth deeply supportive.

Animal Chiropractic

Care for your
whole family.

What animals do you work with?+

Dylan works primarily with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages. He is a licensed animal chiropractor in the state of Colorado one of a small number of practitioners in the state holding both human and animal chiropractic credentials. For horses or other animals, reach out directly to discuss.

How do I know if my dog needs chiropractic care?+

Common signs include difficulty jumping, climbing stairs, or getting up from rest; limping or uneven gait; crying when picked up or touched in certain areas; unusual behavioral changes or anxiety; digestive changes; and general stiffness especially in older animals. If you've noticed any of these signs, a chiropractic assessment is a natural and non-invasive first step.

Is animal chiropractic safe? What does a session look like?+

Animal chiropractic with Dylan is gentle, intuitive, and non-invasive. He takes time to read the animal's body before making contact, allowing the animal to relax and feel safe. Most animals settle quickly and many become remarkably cooperative within the first session. There is no forceful thrusting only precise, gentle contact along the spine and joints. Sessions typically last 30 to 45 minutes and take place at the Boulder office.

Do I need a veterinary referral?+

In Colorado, a veterinary referral is required for animal chiropractic care. If your vet is unfamiliar with animal chiropractic, Dylan is happy to provide information to support that conversation. Many Boulder-area vets already know of his work and are familiar with the practice.
