Getting Started

About Dr. Dylan and the Practice

Dr. Dylan Jonlynn, DC is a Webster Certified family chiropractor, licensed animal chiropractor, and practitioner based in Boulder, Colorado. He has been practicing chiropractic for over a decade and brings together chiropractic science, energy work, somatic awareness, and contemplative practice into a uniquely integrated approach. Dylan is also a Vajrayana Buddhist teacher and IFS practitioner which means every session draws on a much deeper well than chiropractic technique alone.
Most chiropractic is mechanical: find the misalignment, adjust it, repeat. Dylan's approach is relational. He takes time at the beginning of every session to truly assess what is present in your body today, not what was present last week. He blends physical chiropractic with energy work and somatic awareness, meaning the nervous system is addressed at multiple levels simultaneously. Clients often report shifts that go well beyond physical pain relief: changes in energy, mood, clarity, and sense of self.
Your first visit includes a full intake conversation where Dylan listens carefully to your history, your current concerns, and what you are hoping for. He takes time to assess your spine and nervous system before beginning any adjustment. First sessions typically run 60 to 75 minutes. Many clients notice something shifting even before they leave the office.

Our Approach

Chiropractic Care

This is one of the gentlest chiropractic approaches in existence. There is no high velocity thrusting, no forceful manipulation, and typically no cracking. The touches are light and precise. Safe for all ages from newborns to elders.
Most clients describe sessions as deeply relaxing and expansive. You lie fully clothed on a chiropractic table. Dylan makes light, specific contacts along your spine and sacrum. The nervous system responds sometimes with gentle wave like movements, deep breathing, emotional release, or simply a profound settling.
This varies by person. For acute pain, more frequent visits early on. For ongoing wellness, many clients come weekly or twice monthly. Think of it less like going to the dentist and more like a contemplative practice: the benefits accumulate over time.
Chronic back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica, stress and anxiety, fatigue, digestive issues, and general nervous system dysregulation. Beyond symptom relief, clients report improvements in sleep, energy, emotional resilience, and overall quality of life.
Pregnancy, Birth, and New Life

Prenatal and Postnatal Care

Yes. The Webster Technique is specifically designed for pregnancy and widely endorsed by midwives, OBs, and doulas. No high velocity thrusting and no pressure on the abdomen.
A specific chiropractic sacral analysis and gentle adjustment designed to reduce the effects of sacral misalignment during pregnancy. Supports optimal pelvis function and baby positioning.
Any time during pregnancy is appropriate. Many clients come monthly in early trimesters, then increase to every two to three weeks in the third trimester.
Yes. Gentle newborn adjustments use the lightest possible touch. Dylan works with newborns from their first days of life.
The postpartum body benefits greatly from realignment support. Most clients find coming in within the first two to six weeks after birth deeply supportive.
